Phase 6
Phase 6 expansion consisted of the purchase of an existing plant and demolition of the plant in Louisiana in which ServcoCanada was the Contractor completing the rebuild. This build involved tying into the existing plant while in operation and building the expansion adjacent to it. We assisted Canexus with the General Contractor duties throughout the life cycle of the project ensuring civil earthworks and electrical remained on schedule and budget. Erection of a previously existed plant from Louisianna – Piping installation (Titanium, Stainless, Carbon steel, Fiberglass, Plastics) All equipment install.
Phase 7
Phase 7 took place in 2010 with a greenfield build alongside the Phase 6 facility again taking place while in full operation. The building is approximately 25,000 sq feet with additional new electrode cell processing lines with new storage tanks for their new lines.
In addition to Phase 6 & 7, we have been a major face on site for tasks from de-bottlenecking projects to boiler overhauls. Completing scopes of work at the Canexus site (Chemtrade) in Structural Steel, Piping, Millwrighting, Insulation and Boilermaking.
Complete Mechanical Scope (Piping (all previously noted systems), Mechanical (Pumps Compressors, Cells), tie into existing facility, Field routing of all piping systems.
Overview
For over 10 years ServcoCanada (formerly DMS Industrial Constructors) has been a preferred contractor with the Chlorate facility in Brandon MB. We have been through 4 name changes with the facility. Canexus ( now Chemtrade ) has completed a lot of major projects over the course of this time in which ServcoCanada (formerly DMS Industrial Constructors) has been apart of them all.
