ServcoCanada was awarded the fabrication and assembly of over 30 custom pipe/electrical rack modules for delivery to Nemaska Lithium Bécancour Conversion Plant in Québec. The scope was completed at our Winnipeg Fabrication Shop and included structural steel and pipe fabrication, electrical integration, and full module assembly.
To support this cross-country delivery, 41 semi-truck loads were coordinated to transport the completed modules from Manitoba to the plant site.
Pipe fabrication included Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel 304 and 316, and Duplex Stainless Steel welded systems, along with Victaulic grooved systems in both Carbon and Stainless Steel. The electrical scope included installation of cable trays with bonding/grounding and heat tracing and was completed with splice kits to support efficient site installation. The racks were assembled with various specifications of pipe insulation and cladding. Structural coating and under-insulation pipe coating were performed at our fabrication facility by one of our trusted coating subcontractors.
Additional pipe spool fabrication is underway as a continuation of this scope, with completion expected in early 2026.
