Bears’ Lair Youth Camp in Flying Dust First Nation
ServcoCanada was a proud sponsor of this week’s Bears’ Lair Dream Camp in Flying Dust First Nation!
Dream Camps are innovative, culturally-relevant programs where Indigenous youth learn about the fundamentals of owning and operating a business. Through team challenges and activities, the youth are taken through the process of creating their own business and taught valuable business and social skills and confidence they can take into their futures.
On the last day of each camp, participants pitch their business ideas to a group of judges who act as mentors, providing feedback and choosing a winner. This week, ServcoCanada’s Vice President of Estimation, Corey McNabb was one of the judges. He shared that “It was inspiring to see 25 youth come together, forming 5 amazing businesses that showcased their creativity and passion.”
Thank you, Bears’ Lair Dream Camp, for an unforgettable experience!
